Our Gites

Liberté Bosquet Gites was purchased by us in January 2011, and is set in a very lovely secluded and naturally pretty location in an acre of private grounds.

With both natural hedging and fencing to ensure privacy, each gite also has its own semi in ground 4.4 meter octagonal solar-heated swimming pool for your exclusive use, along with BBQ and lounging and outdoor eating areas.

The property is in a small rural hamlet, within 30 minute walking distance of the picturesque village of Jumilhac Le Grand with its fairytale 13th Century Chateau, restaurant, bars, shop, butchers, chemist, 2 bakeries, etc. and just a 10 minute drive across the Haute Vienne border to St-Yrieix-la-Perche which has numerous shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, a fortnightly market, night market, and cultural events throughout the year.

Liberté Cottage can accommodate up to 5 persons. It is a charming French character stone cottage, very spacious, with a lot of the original features, including exposed oak beams (some low beams on the first floor) stone fireplace with wood burner, some exposed stone walls, bread oven etc. But at the same time it offers all the modern conveniences you would expect, including full size dishwasher, washing machine, and kitchen appliances to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Liberté Cottage

Bedroom 1:	Family room, offering 1 double bed and a separate single bed through in an ante room attached, 2 x chest of draws and 1 wardrobe, 2 x bedside tables and an ottoman. Hair dryer.
Bedroom 2:	1 double bed, 1 chest of draws, tall boy and dressing table, 1 bedside table.
Bathrooms:	The upstairs bathroom offers a bath, toilet and wash basin. Downstairs offers a shower, toilet, bidet and hand basin.
Kitchen:	The large kitchen has fitted units, sinks and is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Good selection of utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. Oak dinning table and six chairs.
Utility Room:	Washing machine, fridge freezer, ironing board, iron, cleaning items, sink with storage under.
Living Room:	The large living room has comfortable leather sofas, coffee tables, TV, DVD player/CD player, wood burner.
Bread Oven:	There is a large selection of books, board games and toys for all age groups.
Cleaning / towels / linen:	All towels for both shower and swimming along with all bed and kitchen linen are included in the holiday price. All linen/towels are changed weekly.
Amenities/Facilities:	Private garden, parking, Free satellite TV, Free WiFi, room fans, barbecue, private pool. Shops, Lido, restaurant, bars, post office, tourism office and several lake beaches nearby.
Suitability:	Well behaved dogs and children welcome.

It is a sympathetically renovated charming French character stone animal barn, very spacious, with a lot of the original features, including exposed oak beams and fireplace with wood burner. The décor is modern with all the modern conveniences you would expect, including full size dishwasher, washing machine, and kitchen appliances to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Bedroom 2:	King size double or two twin beds, one bedside cabinet, one chest of draws and wrought iron clothes hanger.
Bedroom 3:	King size double or two twin beds, one bedside cabinet, one chest of draws and wrought iron clothes hanger.
Bathrooms:	Corner bath with hair wash shower head, separate shower,sink and toilet
Kitchen, Dining, Lounge:	The large open plan kitchen has fitted units, sink and is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Good selection of utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. Glass top table with 6 dining chairs and matching display unit. Open plan large living room has comfortable leather sofas, coffee tables, TV, DVD player/CD player, wood burner.
Utility Room:	Washing machine, toilet, sink, ironing board, iron, cleaning items, storage cupboards cushions for outside patio chairs and loungers and three parasols for the patio.
Upstairs Gallery:	Two seater leather reclining sofa and coffee table.
